Parking in Stadskanaal (19 & 20 September only)
Are you travelling by car to Stadskanaal under Steam? Please note that parking is **not** available at Stadskanaal station. A dedicated parking area has been arranged at Gasselterstraat in Stadskanaal, at Stopaq. Direction signs and traffic marshals will guide you to this parking area. Tip for your navigation system: enter “Gasselterstraat 20, 9503 JB Stadskanaal”.
From there, a shuttle bus operated by the National Bus Museum will take you to Stadskanaal station. The shuttle journey takes only a few minutes. The first bus departs at approximately 9:00 am. On Saturday, the shuttle service operates until 5:00 pm; on Sunday, until 6:00 pm.
You can also walk from the parking area to the station. The walking route is shown below. The walk takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
Do you have limited mobility? A number of disabled parking spaces are available close to Stadskanaal station. Traffic marshals will direct you to these spaces.

Are you boarding the train in Veendam? You can park your car at Veendam station.
