Parking in Stadskanaal (Only September 20 & 21)
Are you coming to Stadskanaal onder Stoom by car? Please note that you cannot park at Stadskanaal station. A special parking area has been set up on Gasselterstraat in Stadskanaal, near Stopaq. You will be directed to this parking area by signs or traffic controllers. Tip for your navigation system: set it to Gasselterstraat 20, 9503 JB Stadskanaal. From here, a shuttle bus runs from the National Bus Museum to Stadskanaal station. The shuttle bus will take you to Stadskanaal station in just a few minutes. The first bus departs at approximately 9:00 AM. On Saturdays, the shuttle ends at 5:00 PM and on Sundays at 6:00 PM.
You can also walk from the parking lot to the station. See the walking route below. The walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Do you have difficulty walking? There are several disabled parking spaces available near Stadskanaal station. Traffic wardens will direct you there.
