It has been a tradition for many years that Saint Nicholas visits Museumspoorlijn STAR at the end of November. And this year he will again try to find a gap in his busy schedule to take a train ride. But of course Saint Nicholas and his helpers don’t want to do this alone! They would love it if many children came along.

Together with the children, the dads, moms, grandpas and grandmas, Saint Nicholas and his helpers will take a fun train ride on the STAR railway line. And what will happen on the way? It promises to be a fun, cozy and also exciting trip.

Ticket sales

Ticket sales start about a month before this event. Buy your ticket via our ticket shop, which you can then easily exchange for an authentic train ticket at the counter upon arrival at the station! Tickets can also be purchased at the Stadskanaal and Veendam stations. The conductor will check and clip the ticket on the train.

The timetable will be announced about a month in advance.
