Steam locomotive 52 8060

Travel with the driver and stoker and experience up close what happens on board the steam locomotive! With this package you will take a single trip in the cabin of the steam locomotive from Stadskanaal to Veendam or vice versa. You will also receive a day ticket so that you can ‘normally’ join the museum train for the rest of the day.

The package costs €60.00 and is available on almost all our normal operating days. We do recommend booking in advance, because there are of course only a limited number of places.

Reservations

A footplate ride can be booked from the age of 18, from 16 to 18 you can book with written permission from a parent. Are you interested? Please contact us. We will then see when it is possible.

Special clothing is not required, but we recommend wearing old clothes and sturdy shoes (work shoes if you have them). Please note that your clothes may get dirty on the way.
