Combine a journey from Stadskanaal to Veendam with a visit to the Veenkoloniaal Museum. Discover the history of the peat colonies in eastern Groningen. This combined ticket includes a return trip on the steam train and admission to the museum and is available on most operating days of Museum Railway STAR.
Dieverdoatsie & Steam Train
Step aboard the historic tow barge Dieverdoatsie and experience travel as it was in the 19th century. Combine it with a beautiful steam train journey. Available only on selected Wednesdays and Sundays in July and August.
To Blauwestad by Steam Train, Bus and Boat
Enjoy a unique afternoon excursion by steam train, classic bus and sightseeing boat. Discover the Oldambt Lake and Blauwestad, including a guide and a complimentary drink on board. This package is available on a limited number of days during the summer months.
