On Sunday 1 March many extra activities will be organised for our young visitors.

The train runs twice between Stadskanaal and Veendam. From Stadskanaal the trains depart at 10:50 and 14:05. From Veendam station you can board at 12:05 for a (return) trip back in time. All coaches are heated, so you can warm up and enjoy the wintry landscape! You can find the complete timetable below.

* Bareveld halt: The train stops here only on request! If you are on the platform, raise your hand when the train approaches. Did you board at one of the other stations? Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Bareveld.
Ticket sales
Purchase your ticket via our ticket shop. Tickets are also available at the stations Stadskanaal and Veendam.
Always make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure!
Historic diesel locomotive
The trains are hauled by a historic diesel locomotive from the 1950s. The steam locomotives of Museumspoorlijn STAR are still under maintenance and will return to service in spring.
