Several times a year, Museumspoorlijn STAR organises a day trip to the National Bus Museum. Reservations are required for this day trip.
You will depart by steam train from Stadskanaal to Veendam, at Veendam station an old bus from the National Bus Museum will be waiting for you, the bus will take you to Hoogezand. Here you can have lunch if desired (not included in this package). At 13:00 the tour starts, led by the museum guides you will get an impression of the city and regional transport of past years. After your museum visit you will be taken by bus to Veendam station and you will take the train to Stadskanaal again.

You can book your ticket online via our ticket shop or you can make a reservation via info@stadskanaalrail.nl. Reservations for this package are mandatory due to the limited number of seats on the bus. First select the desired date, then the number of tickets required.
The day trip will only take place if there is sufficient interest. If the tour is cancelled, you will hear this at least 3 days in advance. Therefore, please provide your telephone number where we can reach you.
