Your trip with our train can be ideally combined with a visit to the Veenkoloniaal Museum in Veendam. The ultimate way to get to know the rich history of the East Groningen Peat Colonies! Special package tickets are available from Museumspoorlijn STAR. These serve as a ticket for the train and as an entrance ticket to the Veenkoloniaal Museum.
You leave by train from Stadskanaal to Veendam, from Veendam station you walk to the Veenkoloniaal Museum (+/- 10 minutes). After your museum visit you take the train back to Stadskanaal.
