DESCRIPTION:On this day\, our historic steam train will once again run between Stadskanaal and Veendam. You will travel along the Stadskanaal-Veendam route\, on the border of Groningen and Drenthe. Along the way\, you will pass the Bareveld and Wildervank stops. You will arrive at the over 100-year-old and fully restored Veendam station. Trains will also run between Stadskanaal and Nieuw-Buinen on this day. \nAlso on this day\nIn addition to a ride on our steam train\, the following packages are also available on this day: \n\nCombined ticket: Veenkolonie Express\nYour trip on our train can be perfectly combined with a visit to the Veenkoloniaal Museum in Veendam. Read on for more information about the Dieverdoatsie and the steam train.\nPancake Train\nThe pancake train runs several times a year. The train departs from Stadskanaal station to Nieuw Buinen. There\, the locomotive is diverted to the other end of the train\, and the train returns to Stadskanaal station. After the train ride\, you can enjoy delicious pancakes in the carriage shed or station restaurant. More information about the Pancake Train.\n\nTicket Sales\nYou can purchase e-tickets for this day in advance. Go to our ticket shop and select the desired date. You can then purchase the tickets you want. \nNote: Upon arrival at Stadskanaal or Veendam station\, please have your e-tickets scanned at the ticket office at the station.
