DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, October 26\, the Teddy Bear Express will be running again!\nThis special day is entirely dedicated to our youngest visitors.\nChildren can travel for free on this day when they bring their teddy bear along. \nA life-size teddy bear will also be walking around that day.\nWith all the children’s teddy bears on board\, the train ride promises to be cheerful and fun.\nIs your teddy bear feeling unwell? No problem!\nThe Teddy Bear Doctor will have a look at your bear and make it feel better again. \nBirthday of the Bears\n The teddy bears are celebrating their birthday – and of course\, that calls for a party! On this day\, there will be a **Bear Disco** in the carriage shed from **1:00 PM to 1:30 PM**.  \nAnd furthermore…\n In the **carriage shed**\, children can play games\, get their faces painted\, and have fun on the **bouncy castle**. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=””] \n \nOn this day the train runs between Stadskanaal and Veendam according to the timetable below. \nDay of the Special Rail Vehicles\nDid you know that there are many more vehicles that use the track to travel on? Not just the locomotive you already know from before our train\, but also some very special vehicles! Today is all about these unique rail vehicles. You can see them all in Stadskanaal and even take a ride on most of them! \nMany of these devices are so-called Draisines: light\, simple rail vehicles that were once intended for track inspections and to move maintenance personnel to their positions. Most are powered by human power\, some by a small engine. \nSpecial Package\nMake the day extra special and get tickets for the exclusive trip to Nieuw Buinen with two motorized vehicles and a large pump truck! The KLV 11 with its lorry and the Opel Olympia will be coming to Stadskanaal especially for this day. \nThe handcar program to Nieuw Buinen is offered at the following times and can be combined with the steam train ride to Veendam: \n10:30 AM / 11:45 AM / 2:15 PM / 3:30 PM \n \nPrices\nThe handcar package costs €10 for adults and €5 for children. \nTokens for a footplate ride on the various handcars in Stadskanaal cost €1 each\, or 5 for €4. Tokens are available at the ticket office in Stadskanaal; reservations are not required. \nA combined ticket for the handcar package and return trip from Stadskanaal to Veendam costs €22.50 for adults and €11.50 for children. \nAs always\, children aged 3 and under are free.  \n\n\n\n\n\nTicket sales\nBuy your ticket online through our ticket shop\, which you can then easily exchange for An authentic train ticket at the ticket office! With a teddy bear they can take the STAR train for free on this day! \nOf course a life-size teddy bear will also take the train on this day to greet all the children and their cuddly toys. With all the children’s little teddy bears it is of course also very cozy on the train. Is your teddy bear sick? No problem. The teddy bear doctor will look at your bear and make it better again. \nWe are going to wake the bears at 10 o’clock. We need your help because the bears are sleeping very soundly\, can you help us. \nWe will pick up the bears at 13:00. They will then be having lunch. If we don’t do that the bears will be much too late. \nExtra activities\nAt the Stadskanaal station there are extra activities. For example\, you can go on the bouncy castle\, have your face painted or participate in the bear hunt. There is a carriage with all kinds of cuddly toys. And are you very strong?
