DESCRIPTION:Extra activities\n On Sunday 1 March many extra activities will be organised for our young visitors.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The train runs twice between Stadskanaal and Veendam. From Stadskanaal the trains depart at 10:50 and 14:05. From Veendam station you can board at 12:05 for a (return) trip back in time. All coaches are heated\, so you can warm up and enjoy the wintry landscape! Tickets are also available at the stations Stadskanaal and Veendam. \nAlways make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure! \nHistoric diesel locomotive\n The trains are hauled by a historic diesel locomotive from the 1950s. The steam locomotives of Museumspoorlijn STAR are still under maintenance and will return to service in spring.
